It’s all happening: For the first time ever, Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) are teaming up for a boxing mega-event that pits Jake “El Gallo de Dorado” Paul against the baddest man in the world, Mike Tyson . The event will stream live on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on November 15th. A rematch between undisputed super lightweight champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs) will also be in the co-main event Day postponed. The sanctioned bout was sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations and will consist of eight two-minute rounds (instead of the usual three-minute rounds). Both boxers wear 14-ounce gloves, which are heavier than standard gloves.

In this electrifying fight for the WBC Welterweight World Championship, reigning champion Mario “El Azteca” Barrios will defend his title against Abel Ramos. Barrios is a rising star in the world of boxing, known for his fierce fighting style and deep connection to his Mexican heritage. He won his first world title in 2019 by defeating Batyr Akhmedov and later moved up to welterweight, where he took on top contenders, including a memorable bout against Gervonta “Tank” Davis in 2021. He began his amateur career at the age of 13 and moved to the professional ranks in 2011, where he quickly made a name for himself by facing formidable opponents such as Ivan Baranchyk and Regis Prograis. This will be Ramos’ second chance at a world title. “I’m really excited to fight for the WBC title and I’m looking forward to a great fight against Mario Barrios,” Ramos told Netflix. “He’s a warrior, just like me.”

Also on the card for the boxing mega event are Neeraj Goyat, India’s No. 1 boxer and first international MVP signee, and Brazil’s multi-talented superstar Whindersson Nunes. Goyat makes his MVP debut against Nunes in a six-round professional super middleweight bout. Goyat began his amateur boxing career in 2006 and quickly began his rise to the top. He won the WBC Asian title in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and was the first Indian boxer ever to make it to the WBC world rankings. “I couldn’t be more excited to make my MVP debut in what promises to be the biggest boxing event in history,” Goyat told Netflix.

Nunes is a Brazilian icon and social media superstar with a huge online fan base. He has an overall record of 2-2-1 with 1 KO in his boxing career. Known for his charismatic presence both in and out of the ring, Nunes has faced notable opponents, including his fight against legendary world champion Acelino “Popó” Freitas in 2022, which went eight rounds and resulted in a draw for the fighters. “I grew up watching big names in boxing, so it’s an honor to be a part of this card and challenge myself in this sport,” Nunes said.
