Clear morning, warmer weather this weekend

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – You’re in for some of the coolest weather so far this season. Expect morning temperatures to continue as temperatures slowly warm through the end of the week and into the weekend.

TODAY

After a cool start to the day, temperatures will rise to the low 60s by the afternoon. With less wind and more sunshine, it will feel more pleasant than Wednesday.

Highs this afternoon will be in the lower 60s with plenty of sunshine. You will need the jacket most of the day.(WMBF)

TONIGHT

With clear skies and a northerly wind, temperatures will drop quickly again tonight. There may be a few spots that wake up Friday morning EVEN COLDER than this morning. You’ll probably also want the extra layer when you’re heading out the door or getting the kids dressed for school Friday.

Expect another crisp start with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s.(WMBF)

WARMER THROUGH THE WEEKEND

Temperatures will slowly get warmer as the weekend progresses. Friday will see lots of sunshine and temperatures in the upper 60s. Right now it’s looking like the pick of the week, with the best forecast looking to resemble a fall day here in the Carolinas.

Despite a good start, the sunshine will remain on Friday. Highs will be in the upper 60s.(WMBF)

We will maintain cool mornings through the weekend, with afternoon temperatures in the low 70s on Saturday and mid 70s on Sunday. The weather forecast looks good for everyone’s weekend plans with sunny skies.
