Start times for the 2024 United States F1 GP

This weekend in Austin offers even more Formula 1 action with the fourth sprint race of the season. Therefore there will only be one free practice session this weekend, followed by sprint qualifying on Friday. The sprint race will take place on Saturday, followed by qualifying for the Grand Prix later in the day. This means there are more opportunities to score points, which could be crucial in the championship battle between Lando Norris and Max Verstappen.

The 2024 United States F1 GP begins at 8pm BST on Sunday, October 20. About an hour and a half later we will know who won in Austin.

Start time of the F1 sprint race in Austin

Like last year, there will be a sprint race in Austin. The sprint race for the F1 United States Grand Prix begins at 7:00pm BST on Saturday 19 October.
