Amazon is adding more countries with ads on Prime Video

Advertising in Prime Video shows and films is scheduled to launch in Brazil, India, Japan, the Netherlands and New Zealand in 2025.

Amazon says the regional expansion of Prime Video ads will support the continued creation of compelling content over time and help brands of all sizes reach new audiences in new countries.

In recent years, Amazon has focused on building Prime Video into a premium entertainment destination, offering a range of original series and films from Amazon MGM Studios, including Reacher, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Road House, And Your ideaas well as licensed films and series, content from other services made available as an additional subscription, blockbuster films and series for rent or purchase and FAST Live linear channels.

Prime Video ads are currently offered in Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. All regions also offer customers the choice of an ad-free option.
