Backstage @ WRCO with Phil Nee is LIVE, featuring studio music and conversations with some of the best AND emerging artists in the United States.

This week Phil had the opportunity to bring The Six One Five Collective to the WRCO FM studios on Highway 14 in Richland Center.

The band is the collaborative effort and creative brainstorming of solo artists Sarah Darling, Michael Logen, Shelly Fairchild and Nicole Witt and has toured the world opening for John Legend, India Arie, John Hiatt, Kenny Chesney and others. They have performed C2C on the Grand Ole Opry stage and have toured extensively abroad.

Their music is characterized by a musical mix of country, Americana, folk and pop.

Their sound is an undeniable wall of distinctive harmonies, vocal skills and solo voices reminiscent of the great American bands before them, Fleetwood Mac, Little Big Town, etc. Their roadshow is an eclectic mix of original solo music, hits that they created for other artists wrote, and energetic songs that make up the “Six One Five” sound.

They are nationally recognized artists and songwriters with three Grammy nominations and the IBM Song of the Year award. Her songs have been written for household names such as George Strait, Lee Brice, Marc Broussard, Sister Hazel and several TV shows such as Nashville, Parenthood and Virgin River!
