3 Streaming Kickers for Fantasy Football Week 7

We’re in Week 7 of fantasy football and the Cowboys and Bears have a bye this week. That means some managers are looking for a streaming kicker who can fill the starting role or a better long-term option.

We are there for you on both fronts.

Below are three kickers who have good matchups as a streaming option this week and could become starters as the season progresses.

Let’s dive in. Availability based on ESPN.

Jason Myers, Seahawks 89% available

Myers has a strong matchup this week against the Falcons in Atlanta, where three kickers have scored 12 or more points this season. That’s good news for Myers, who has averaged just 6 points per game in his last four games.

A large part of this struggle is due to him missing four attempts in the last four weeks, but he has been reliable throughout his career. In a must-win game for the struggling Seahawks against a Falcons team against whom the kickers made 100% of their field goal attempts, I expect Myers to have a good game.

Wil Lutz, Broncos 93% available

Lutz has gone a perfect 9-for-9 on his field goal attempts this year and hasn’t missed an extra point attempt either. The only reason he isn’t being played in more leagues is that the Broncos’ offense has struggled in many areas this year.

This week, Denver gets a tasty matchup against a Saints defense that gives up the most yards per game in the NFL (395.8) but is stingy in the red zone, allowing a TD just 38.1% of the time, which is the second best in the NFL. This means drives end in field goal attempts.

In a dome environment (the game is in New Orleans), I want Lutz to have a strong performance, perhaps above his 9.2 points per game average, the eighth highest in fantasy.

Tyler Bass, Bills available at 80%

Bass had a memorable performance against the Jets on Monday Night Football, missing a field goal and attempting an extra point. This is a good time to buy cheaply from him.

While they aren’t dominant overall, the Bills’ offense is much better at home than away, averaging 40.5 points per game so far this year. Likewise, Bass scored 10 and 12 points in his two home games.

The Bills face a Titans defense that is giving up the most yards per game in the NFL (4.3), and the Kickers have made every field goal attempt against them this year. The Bills could pick up points this week, putting Bass in position to have another big game at home.
