Election Live Updates: Kamala Harris and Donald Trump face off on FOX

Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will attend separate media events on the same network. Trump, on the one hand, participated in a pre-recorded town hall on Fox News that aired Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET, with Harris Faulkner serving as moderator. Meanwhile, Harris will conduct her first Fox News interview since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee. Harris’ interview with Fox News political anchor Bret Baier will air on Fox’s Special Report Wednesday night at 6 p.m. ET.

Former President Vows to ‘Abolish’ Sanctuary Cities

“We’re going to dismantle all the sanctuary cities immediately… there are things we can do to send people away,” Trump said in response to a question from the all-female audience. “We can drive them out of the sanctuary cities.

“Sanctuary cities are really just there to protect criminals, that’s what they’ve become,” he added.

Trump comments on border policy

During the town hall with Harris Faulkner, Trump was asked about policies compared to Harris regarding the border and letting people into the country.

“We want as many people to come in as possible, but they have to come in legally,” he said. “We don’t want murders… So many people work to come into our country, they work for ten years to prepare, and then so many people come to our border.”

Trump Town Hall airs on FOX

A pre-recorded event featuring former President Donald Trump is currently airing on Fox News. It is aimed at an all-female audience and focuses on women’s issues. The hour-long event will not be broadcast live as it was recorded on Tuesday and covers topics such as abortion, immigration, the economy and healthcare.

Fox News’ Harris Faulkner will moderate the event.

This all comes ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris’ interview with Bret Baier on the same network, which airs Wednesday night at 6 p.m
