“Wallace & Gromit” return in the trailer for the new Netflix film

For the first time in 20 years there is something new Wallace & Gromit feature – and this one is coming to Netflix.

Subtitled Revenge on the most fowlThis adventure starring the lovable stop-motion duo is technically a sequel to one of their most popular short films, 1993’s The Wrong Pants. It features the return of that short’s villainous penguin, Feathers McGraw, who is now on what other than revenge.

Co-director: Wallace & Gromit The film was shot in the same stop-motion style that Park and Aardman Animations is known for. You can watch the teaser Revenge on the most fowl below:

This is the first feature to feature the new voice of Wallace, Ben Whitehead. His original actor, Peter Sallis, died in 2017. Whitehead has previously voiced Wallace in several roles Wallace & Gromit video games and as a “stand-in” for Sallis in the 2008 short film “A Matter of Loaf and Death.”

Aardman’s four-time Academy Award®-winning director Nick Park and Emmy-nominated Merlin Crossingham return with an all-new epic adventure: Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. In this next episode, Gromit’s worries that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions are proven justified when Wallace invents an “intelligent” gnome that appears to develop a mind of its own. When it becomes apparent that a vengeful figure from the past may be making things happen, it’s up to Gromit to fight dark forces and save his master…otherwise Wallace could never invent anything again!

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl The premiere on Netflix is ​​scheduled for January 3, 2025.
