Here’s what to see during Open House Chicago 2024 in Beverly and Morgan Park

BEVERLY — Expansive sacred spaces, art galleries, historic homes and even a honey winery will open their doors this weekend as part of the annual Open House Chicago tour.

Organized by the Chicago Architecture Center, the free event (unless otherwise noted) allows both neighbors and visitors from afar to tour neighborhood gems like the Tudor-style Paul and Jean Harris Home, dedicated to the founder of the first Rotary Club includes the magnificent Victorian rooms of the Ingersoll-Blackwelder House, which dates back to the 1870s and is one of the community’s oldest homes.

There’s also Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery, the first in the state to raise honey bees to make mead, often called “honey wine.” Tours and tastings of the winery are offered every 15 to 20 minutes.
