Welcome to Wallpaper Wednesday! In this weekly roundup, we’ll introduce you to a handful of Android wallpapers that you can download and use on your phone, tablet or even your laptop/PC. The pictures are from people here Android Authority as well as our readers. All are free to use and without watermarks. The file formats are JPG and PNG. We provide images in both landscape and portrait format so they are optimized for different screens.

Wallpaper Wednesday: October 16, 2024

Another week, another set of awesome Android wallpapers to share! Remember that we are always looking for contributions from our readers. Skip to the end of this article to find out how to feature one of your images in an upcoming Wallpaper Wednesday!

Because you’ve made Wallpaper Wednesday so popular, we’re now doubling the number of reader-submitted wallpapers featured each week! We used to take three pictures, but now we’re increasing the number to six. You’re just too good at it!

With that in mind, we’ve rounded up six amazing images from our readers that would look great on your phone, tablet or PC. As usual we also have three pictures of the Android Authority Team.

First we have a cinematic photo of the rising sun over Vietnam from reader (and frequent contributor) Han Le. Next we see a close-up of an eye on a Pakistani rupee from reader Adoss. After that, we have a strange looking flower from reader Gaurav Bakshi, who used a OnePlus 12 to take the shot. Speaking of strange looking flowers, next we have another strange one from reader Cipudul. We also have a great shot of a beach called “Coqueirinho” in Brazil. Reader Adriano Prezniska (who previously contributed to Wallpaper Wednesday) took this with a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra! Finally, we have a sort of spooky shot of someone wearing a gas mask, photographed by reader SS Alam Sohan. Thank you everyone for your submissions!

Of the Android Authority Team, we have a triple feature from Rita El Khoury. First, Rita photographed some beautiful trees with a bright blue sky behind them. Next, she took a photo of a building with some interesting design elements. Finally we have a weird…fruit…thing. I don’t know, but it would make a cool wallpaper!

How to submit your own Android wallpapers

We’d love to hear your own contributions to our Wallpaper Wednesdays project. Before submitting, the following rules apply:

• Your submissions should be your own creation. This means photos you’ve taken, digital art you’ve created, etc. Please don’t submit other people’s work – that’s just not cool. Additionally, please avoid sending images created solely with AI. Images that you created and then augmented with AI tools are fine.
• You must agree to the rental Android Authority Share your Android wallpapers for free with anyone who wants them.
• We do not accept watermarked images. However, you will receive attribution and a link in the article itself. We can only link to your social media account.

Ready to submit? Fill out the form below. You must provide the highest resolution version of the image you can provide, your name, and a brief description of the image. If you would like us to link to a social media page that you own on your behalf, please indicate this as well, but this is optional.
