Brooklyn Nets vs. Philadelphia 76ers Prediction 10/16/24 – Free Overall Prediction

Okay, let’s make it short and sweet:

My Philadelphia 76ers are playing against the Brooklyn Nets. Ben Simmons is back for the Nets, and he didn’t perform too badly in his first game, putting up some good numbers. Now he faces the 76ers, who are essentially sitting out their key players until the start of the season. We knew Embiid wasn’t going to play because of his knee problem or whatever, but there are still some key players. The only real defensive player left on the field is Drummond, who is a good rim protector and can give you some balls.

But then there’s Maxey, Oubre and those guys who are going to score. They also have Reed and, oh, the other guy they signed from the Clippers – shooters, right? So the defense will be loose.

On the other hand, the Nets lost just 130 points. This team is athletic, long and scores in abundance. Cam Thomas is the points leader there. I see this game exceeding the 216.5 total. It will be a fast-paced, fast-paced game, even with the third- and fourth-string substitutes coming into play. My pick for today’s free winner: Take the score over 216.5.
