On October 18, Innovative Network of Knowledge (INK) and Latched will host a Community Baby Shower at the Jourdanton Community Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Any mothers in the Atascosa County area who could benefit from breastfeeding information or their programs in general are welcome to register and participate.

The event will feature door prizes, refreshments, take-home materials, breastfeeding assistance, games, informational resource booths and more. You can scan the QR code in this article to register for the event.

INK Open Day

INK will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house to celebrate the Texas Home Visiting Program on October 21st from 4 to 6 p.m. at 426 W. Oaklawn in Pleasanton. This is a new service from INK.

Learn about the program, meet the Texas Home Visiting staff, and enjoy refreshments as INK launches this new and impactful program for the community.

While based in Pleasanton, they serve Atascosa County. Texas Home Visiting is a free, voluntary program that provides support to pregnant women and families with children ages five and younger. Their home visitors work directly with families and provide personalized support.
