Good morning and welcome to our coverage of Prime Minister’s Questions, starting at 12:00 BST.

Before we start the show, there’s a long list of possible topics Keir Starmer could be challenged on today – we’ll update you over the next few hours.

As Chancellor Rachel Reeves finalizes the details of her first Budget, expect questions over her reported plan to raise taxes and cut spending to £40 billion, as well as the Prime Minister’s refusal to accept a National Insurance (NI) increase for exclude employers.

On the economic front, the government will also be keen to push ahead with this morning’s surprise fall in inflation to 1.7%. (Reminder: This does not mean that prices are falling, but rather that they are rising more slowly.)

Elsewhere we are likely to hear tributes from party leaders following the death of former Scottish minister Alex Salmond. Another round of promotion for this Taylor Swift show is also planned.

Stay with us.
