First alarm forecast: November cold in mid-October

First alarm forecast: November cold in mid-October

WEDNESDAY: Add a few extra minutes to your morning commute for a cool and, for some, frosty start to the middle of the week. Sunshine will only alleviate the cold to a limited extent – temperatures will rise from above 30°C in the morning and below 40°C to the lower 60°C in the afternoon. As you start your Thursday morning, expect another round of frosty air with lows in the 30s to near 40 degrees.

THURSDAY: Additional freezes could impact your morning commute; Take a few extra minutes to warm up the car before you drive off. Morning 30s and 40s will move back toward the mid to upper 60s during the afternoon hours. Trending back toward the upper 30s and lower 40s – but frost potential will be more limited through early Friday.

ADVANCED FORECAST: The sun continues to shine in the last part of the week, with a gradual warming to seasonal averages. Highs will rebound into the mid-70s through the weekend. The trend will be above average again next week, in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Rain chances remain largely low for most of the next 7-10 days.
