PITTSBURGH, Pa. (KDKA) – The USGA is seeking applicants for a 10-day paid internship during the Next year the US Open will be held at Oakmont Country Club.

The USGA’s Pathways Internship Program offers college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the US Open from June 6-16 next year, while also shadowing other workers and networking within the golf industry.

There are several areas of interest for interns, including media relations, event operations and business development.

Interested students who are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and have completed at least one year of study can apply online.

Students accepted into the internship program receive a stipend and reimbursement for travel, accommodation, food and clothing expenses.

The application deadline for the program is January 13th.
