2 injured, 1 arrested in shooting at Albany apartment complex

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – A woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left two people injured in Albany on Monday, October 14th.

Daysha Rachele Polite, 23, was arrested in connection with a shooting at the Flint Ridge Apartments in which a 22-year-old and a 24-year-old suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement from Albany police.

Polite was charged with aggravated assault (participation in the crime).

She is currently in the Dougherty County Jail.

According to police, further arrests are expected.
