According to the official race website, fans in the US can watch the 2024 Giro del Veneto live Discovery+ ($4.99/month).

Confusingly, FloBikes announced it would broadcast the race back in February, but the site is now returning a 404 error and there is no sign of this being on the schedule. There was also talk that Max would stream the Veneto (per Warner Bros. Discovery), but again we can’t see anything in the schedule and the date seems to be wrong.

Can I watch the Giro del Veneto 2024 in the UK and Europe?

The official Giro del Veneto website suggests that Discovery Plus will broadcast the 2024 Giro del Veneto “abroad” in select countries. However, no further details are given and the UK is not specifically mentioned. We also couldn’t find the race on Eurosport’s TV program. So you may be unlucky.

What is the route of the Giro del Veneto 2024?

The 173 kilometer route starts in beautiful Verona and heads east along the plain to meet its first real obstacle, the Monte del Roccolo, at kilometer 61. After conquering this modest 4.9 kilometer climb, the race arrives in Vicenza, where the five laps of the finish route begin.

There are two 1 kilometer climbs in each lap, the Monte Berico with an average gradient of 7.2% and the flatter Torri de Arcugnano with an average gradient of 3.9%. This duo of ramps acts as a springboard for attacks as the pace and fatigue increase from lap to lap, meaning all favorites must be close to the front of the race at all times.

With many of the favorites now sunning themselves on the beach after a long, hard season, the race remains open to a surprise winner, a driver who still has good legs even this late in the year.

At the top of that list is Marc Hirschi, one of Autumn’s riders, who will be racing his final race for Team UAE before moving to Tudor Pro Cycling next year. Other names to look out for on the starting list include Magnus Cort, Ben Hermans and Luca Vergallito.
