Harrison Ford thinks about what it means to be an actor.

In an interview with GQ On Monday, the actor, known for his iconic roles in, released Indiana Jones, Star Wars and more than that, said that being an actor means being a storyteller.

“I tell stories,” he said. “I belong to a group of people who work together and tell stories together. I am an assistant storyteller. This is who I am.”

When asked what he thought of the recent discussions surrounding the “death of the movie star,” which some say means the idea of ​​movie stars has changed in part because of the age of streaming and franchise films, Ford called it ” Nonsense”.

“I don’t think the question is whether there are movie stars or not,” he said. “Wonderful actors are coming in every day.”

“Whether they become movie stars or not is really not the point,” he added. “When films need stars, they will find them. I never understood how to be a movie star. I’m an actor.”

Ford, who returns as Paul, a moody therapist, in the Apple TV+ series shrinkage next to Jason Segelsaid that what attracts him to certain projects these days depends on the writing and the story.
