This is a summary of crimes and arrests in Coconut Creek through October 7, 2024, compiled through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to provide residents with up-to-date information.

theft

Sephora was the victim of a theft – retail/shoplifting at 4455 Lyons Road on 10/1/2024. The total estimated loss was $2,842.

USPS was a victim of theft on June 10, 2024 in Banyan Bay on W Atlantic Blvd – all others. The total estimated loss was $1,000. Serious mailbox theft was also reported.

Walgreens was the victim of a theft – retail/shoplifting at 4600 Coconut Creek Parkway reported on 03/10/2024. The total estimated loss was $533. Two female subjects stole baby hygiene products.

Sunglass Hut was the victim of a theft – retail/shoplifting at Promenade 4431 Lyons Road on 10/1/2024. The total estimated loss was $363.

Publix was the victim of a theft – retail/shoplifting at 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway on 03/10/2024. The total estimated loss was $326. Two women walked out with items.

The Shell Gas Station was the victim of a Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at Regency Lakes, 6330 N State Road 7, reported on 04/10/2024. The total estimated loss was $253.

On 10/01/2024, a vehicle theft victim was found at the Waterview Apartments on W Hillsboro Blvd. reported. The total estimated loss was $250.

On October 1, 2024, a vehicle theft victim was reported at the Bell Apartments.

On October 1, 2024, a victim of theft from a motor vehicle was reported in Elliot South.

On 10/06/2024, a victim of a theft from a motor vehicle (multiple persons) was reported in Coco Bay on NW 36 Avenue.

battery

On October 1, 2024, a victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike was reported in Cypress Shores. Mutual arguments between men and women were reported.

On October 1, 2024, a victim of serious bodily harm was reported. Domestic disturbances, aggravated assault and child abuse were reported.

On 10/2/2024 a victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike was reported at Centura Parc on NW 38 Avenue.

A Battery – Simple Touch/Strike Banyan Square Plaza victim was reported on 03/10/2024. The child’s mother beat the child’s father.

Serious bodily harm

On March 10, 2024, a victim of serious bodily harm was reported. An aggravated assault with a firearm was reported.

On 03/10/2024 an aggravated assault victim was reported at West Boca Medical on N State Road 7. The total estimated loss was $150. A suicidal 51-year-old man fled the hospital, tried to steal a bicycle and then stole a golf cart.

Arrests

Wesby, Tamia, 19, was arrested on 10/1/2024 at 4690 Coconut Creek Parkway for Robbery with an Unarmed Strong Arm.

Delhomme, Midewilca, 22, was arrested on October 1, 2024 for aggravated domestic violence with bodily harm and a deadly weapon.

Pearson, Robert Pauljesus, 38, arrested on 03/10/2024 for Touching or Hitting/Battery Violence/Dating Violence.

Shue, Steven Paul, 28, was arrested on March 10, 2024 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Wright, Sashoy Tawana, 37, was arrested on 3/10/2024 at 4570 Lyons Road on charges of Touching or Hitting/Assault/Domestic Violence.

Straight, Jeffery Skyler, 51, was arrested on 3/10/2024 at 5071 Wiles Road on charges of Aggravated Assault on an Officer, Firefighter, EMT, etc.

Menendez, Rogelio, 37, was arrested on 6/10/2024 on charges of Domestic Violence by Strangulation-Dating Relationship at 6800 NW 39 Avenue.
