Predicting the final result of the last six matches of Georgian football

Georgia football is at the halfway point of its season and sits at 5-1, ranked No. 5 in the AP poll. This was by no means the season anyone was hoping for, but the Bulldogs still have everything ahead of them.

So before the Bulldogs begin the second half of the season, let’s best assess the final score of their final six regular season games.

As you all know, Texas is next on Georgia’s agenda. The Bulldogs will travel to Austin to take on the No. 1 team in the country in hopes of getting back in the driver’s seat for an SEC Championship.

Any time UGA plays the No. 1 team in the country I will be extremely nervous, but when you add in the fact that it is an away game, that makes me even more worried. Texas has also been extremely dominant this season, already beating two big name programs (Michigan and Oklahoma) by an average of 25 points.

For all of these reasons, as well as Georgia’s recent struggles on the defensive side of the ball, I don’t think I can confidently pick Georgia as the winner of this game. Maybe I’ll think differently as the week goes on, but for now I think the Bulldogs will miss their second game of the season this weekend.

Prediction: Texas wins 38-34

Updated record: 5-2 (3-2)
