The Warriors’ veteran trio is expected to play against the Lakers in the preseason

The Golden State Warriors were without Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green for their preseason game against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night. Despite missing three key veterans, the Warriors secured a 111-93 win over the Pistons and were 4-0 in the preseason.

After a four-game winning streak, the Warriors are expected to welcome the trio of veterans to Las Vegas for Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. According to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Monte Poole, Curry, Green and Wiggins are expected to play against the Lakers on Tuesday night. Second-year guard Brandin Podziemski will be sidelined against the Lakers after suffering a broken nose against the Pistons on Sunday.

During the Warriors’ win over the Sacramento Kings on October 11, Curry jammed his finger late in the first half and did not return in the second half. Still, he is expected to play against the Lakers on Tuesday.

Tuesday’s game against the Lakers marks Wiggins’ preseason debut. Wiggins missed the start of Golden State’s training camp in Hawaii due to illness.

The Warriors face the Lakers on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. PT at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
