Tide Loads of Hope is providing free laundry services to first responders during Hurricane Milton recovery efforts

The giving coast

As Florida recovers from the devastation caused by Hurricanes Milton and Helene, Tide Cleaners is supporting the first responders working tirelessly on the front lines. From October 11-25, 2024, Tide Loads of Hope, supported by Tide Cleaners, will provide free laundry and dry cleaning services to law enforcement officers, firefighters, electric utility employees, FEMA personnel and other responders at 12 Tide Cleaners at locations along Florida’s west coast, including Sarasota, Fort Myers and Naples. The program provides responders with one free laundry bag (up to 13 gallons) per household as they continue their hard work helping communities recover from the effects of the storms. The sites will be open seven days a week for drop-offs and provide much-needed assistance to people working in disaster areas. Drop-off times are Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Where to find help: First responders can drop off laundry at any of the 12 participating Tide Cleaners locations: Sarasota: 8452 Tuttle Ave., 1760 Main Street, 4325 S Tamiami Trail.
