Sabrina Carpenter is as big as it gets right now. The pop star is everywhere and that’s why her tour gets a lot of attention. At each stop, Carpenter does her best to appeal to the crowd, and occasionally that requires supporting the city’s local sports team.

Enter the Curse of Sabrina Carpenter. Because apparently the “Espresso” singer completely hexes any team that shouts at her.

Team England remains behind in the EURO Cup

It’s hard to pinpoint the roots of Sabrina Carpenter’s curse, but many would point to this case. Carpenter donned an England jersey to anger fans as the football club prepared for a European Cup final. The team lost to Spain 1-2.

Carpenter had worn the shirt about a month before the game as England sought their first cup win in five decades.

This “curse” origin may be a bit vague, but it becomes more significant after seeing some of her recent incidents.

Toronto Maple Leafs lose opening game

A regular season game does not determine the success or failure of an NHL team. However, expectations are high for Toronto as they have Stanley Cup aspirations. An opening game against rival Montreal should have been a breeze.

Instead, they lost 0-1.

Carpenter wore, you guessed it, an eye-catching Maple Leafs jersey that went viral on September 26th. Two weeks later the opening game took place, which went badly.

The Phillies are upset

Carpenter, a Pennsylvania native, showed his love for the Phillies as they entered the playoffs with a No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. The team laid an egg against rival New York.

Nobody expected the Phillies to go out without a fight. Maybe we should have reconsidered our confidence after Carpenter donned the red and white pinstripes and even posted an Instagram post about the team on her Stories.

That was a double curse.

The Cowboys are embarrassed

The latest example of how powerful the Sabrina Carpenter curse is occurred on Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys were defeated by the Detroit Lions 47-9.

Carpenter didn’t wear a Dallas jersey, instead opting to sport a Cowboys sweatshirt.

Their powers must be stopped. She’s just too strong at this point.

Besides, I wouldn’t mind if she put on a Kansas City Chiefs jersey sometime soon…
