Game time announced for EMU at Akron Football Game

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Mid-American Conference has announced the official season and broadcast names for football games scheduled for Saturday, October 26th. Eastern Michigan University’s game at the University of Akron is scheduled for 3:30 p.m


The game will be streamed live on ESPN+, with fans able to watch the game live on WEMU (89.1 FM) and The Varsity app Tom Helmer, Rob RubickAnd Greg Steiner announce the whole event from the stand.


The Eagles are looking to pick up their fifth straight win against the Zips, including their third straight win in Akron. Eastern picked up a 30-27 double-overtime win in Ypsilanti last season (Nov. 14), extending the streak after winning two straight in Akron, including a 34-28 decision in their last meeting at InfoCision Stadium on November 14, 2022.


Before turning their attention to the Zips, the Eagles will focus on defending Crosby Field at Rynearson Stadium as rival Central Michigan University comes to town for a Michigan MAC game on Saturday, October 19th. The game, EMU’s 96th homecoming contest, is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+, WEMU (89.1 FM) and The Varsity app.
