The war of words between Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and Dallas Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis has not subsided.

A day after the Lions’ 47-9 victory over the Cowboys, St. Brown shared a screenshot of an alleged direct message from Lewis that read, “You a b—h.”

As one might suspect, there is no love lost between these two.

During a July episode of The Pivot PodcastSt. Brown said Lewis was one of his “least favorite” cornerbacks in the NFL, before going on to say the defensive back was “talking crazy, like some shit I’ve never heard before” when the Lions and Cowboys played last Year.

“He was talking crazy out of his own pocket,” St. Brown said. “Even [Lions wideout Jameson Williams] I heard it too. He came in. At this point it’s like I don’t know what he’s saying. I’m trying to make plays and win the game. I’m not worried about him. But as soon as he starts talking like that, it says: If I get the chance to kill him, I will kill him.

Lewis basically replied that the feeling was mutual.

Dallas mostly kept St. Brown at bay. The two-time Pro Bowler finished the game with four receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown on four targets.

But coming out victorious, especially in such a dominant fashion, meant St. Brown has bragging rights for now.

There could be a rematch in the playoffs. The Lions hold the top spot in the NFC wild card race, and the Cowboys are still just one game behind the first-place Washington Commanders in the wide-open NFC East.

Otherwise, Dallas will travel with teams to Ford Field in 2025 planned to meet next season. The burgeoning rivalry between St. Brown and Lewis will inevitably be a subplot.
