Blake Lively brings a sustainable twist to Sheer Trend with Ryan Reynolds

Blake Lively brought the ultimate date night trend as she stepped out with her husband Ryan Reynolds in New York on Friday. The couple were joined by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as the famous foursome enjoyed dinner in Manhattan’s trendy SoHo district.

Lively wore a full vintage look by Paola Frani, which included a maroon long-sleeved dress with crochet details and matching tights. She accessorized with matching Valentino lace-up boots and a Chanel tweed flap bag. The actress wore her blonde locks in waves while her makeup consisted of brown eyeshadow and rosy blush.

Reynolds, on the other hand, wore a white shirt jacket with an embroidered collar, navy blue pants and brown suede ankle boots.

Swift wore a lace monogrammed Gucci corset top with an RTA pleated leather mini skirt, a black Dior saddle bag and a camel double-breasted coat by Ralph Lauren. The pop star completed her look with platform boots from Louis Vuitton as well as her signature bold red lip.

Transparent models continued to be seen on the catwalk in the spring 2025 season, with labels such as Tory Burch, Chloé and Alexander McQueen, among others, presenting barely visible fabrics.

In August, Lively attended the London premiere of her film “It Ends With Us” in a strapless dress from Tamara Ralph’s Fall 2024 Couture collection. Lively’s floral dress, which she paired with a red feather coat, is decorated with crystallized mesh and appliqués. Her accessories included Christian Louboutin mesh pumps and a Judith Leiber rose clutch. Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, including earrings, bracelets and rings, completed her look.

Justin Baldoni directs and stars in the big-screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, which first hit theaters in 2016. The film stars Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj and Brandon Sklenar.
