MSG, YES launches Gotham Sports app

The Gotham Sports App, the exclusive new TV Everywhere and DTC streaming home of MSG Networks and the YES Network, has launched, giving New York sports fans access to their favorite programs and teams in one place.

Fans who subscribe to MSG+ and the YES app through the Gotham Sports app can watch more than 500 live games from the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres, as well as the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets received .

Gotham is a product of Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment, the digital joint venture between MSG Networks and the YES Network that launched earlier this year.

Fans in MSG Networks and YES’s respective regional coverage areas (New York State, Connecticut, northern and central New Jersey, and northeastern Pennsylvania) who are authenticated MSG Networks and YES subscribers through their respective existing pay television providers , get the Gotham Sports app at no additional cost.

Fans watching live games via the Gotham Sports app can enjoy improvements including the most advanced app-based live stats package, free-to-play real-time games, a loyalty program with reward points and convenient one-stop access to their favorite teams.

The app will be available at launch on a variety of devices and platforms including iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung, LG and the web. For those customers who do not subscribe to a pay television service that carries MSG Networks or the YES Network, the Gotham Sports App offers MSG+ and the YES App for individual purchase and through a combined Gotham Sports package that includes both services.

MSG+ costs $279.99 per year or $29.99 per month or $9.99 via Game Pass. YES costs $239.99 per month or $24.99 per month. A limited-time package deal called the Gotham Package, which includes both MSG+ and YES, is available for $319.99 per year until November 15, 2024, but will increase to $359.99 per year thereafter. A monthly subscription costs $41.99.
