Lingle-Fort Laramie is still undefeated in 9-man football

Lingle-Fort Laramie has a ton of talent in 1A 9-man football this season and showed it on Thursday night with a blowout 55-13 win over Southeast. The Doggers are 6-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play, while Southeast fell to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in league play.

Southeast started the game strong, thanks to a 25-yard touchdown pass from Ayden Desmond to TJ Moats that gave the Cyclones a 6-0 lead. The LFL then took the lead when Kaiden Riggs returned a kickoff 73 yards for a touchdown to make it 7-6, and that was just the beginning.

The Doggers scored 27 points in the 2nd quarter as Riggs had an 8-yard run for a score and an 11-yard ramble to the end zone. Louden Bremer, an outstanding all-around athlete, scored twice from 46 and 40 yards to give LFL a 34-6 lead at halftime.

Riggs added his fourth touchdown of the game with a 42-yard run in the 3rd quarter and Colts Brown added a touchdown in the 3rd stanza. Bremer scored his third touchdown of the night in the 4th quarter and Southeast closed out the scoring when Desmond Chase hit Sauer for 13 yards and a touchdown.

Lingle-Fort Laramie has a huge home game this week against undefeated Pine Bluffs. Southeast will travel to Saratoga on Friday evening. Please take a moment to view some images from the LFL-SE game in our gallery below. Enjoy!
