Outrage over FEMA’s use of taxpayer money continues, but many still question how we got to this point and who allowed this to happen. This is the result of ideologically motivated mismanagement on the part of the authorities’ leadership.

The former FBI special agent told KTRH: “Overall, they are incompetent, careerists or ideologues. Mainly leftists who don’t know how to run these agencies.”

Gilliam says a lack of congressional oversight is also a major factor in this problem. He said: “All these different politicians are funding these agencies. But no one actually sits back and blames them for what they do with the money.”

This lack of accountability allows FEMA and other agencies, including those at the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, to demand more and more money from Congress, only to turn around and waste it.
