Always open: Bengals’ Ja’Marr Chase warms up in a 7-Eleven jersey for Sunday night against the Giants

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase wore a 7-Eleven jersey as he warmed up for the Week 6 NFL game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

The 7/11 pendant and chain that Chase wore in a win against the Seattle Seahawks last season were available on the supermarket’s website about a year ago for $120 and quickly sold out.

The NFL fined Chase $19,697 for unsportsmanlike conduct/violent gesture during a touchdown celebration during the Bengals’ Week 5 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The TD was Chase’s first of two touchdowns in the game, along with a 70-yard reception from quarterback Joe Burrow in the fourth quarter.

Chase had a season-best 10 catches for 193 yards against Baltimore.

He entered Sunday night with 29 receptions for 493 receiving yards and five touchdowns in five games this season.
