The Switch 2 codename appears to have been leaked – Nintendo Wire

We reported earlier today that Pokémon developer Game Freak was hit by a massive data breach that resulted in the loss of gigabytes of the company’s data, including extensive information about past and upcoming Pokémon titles.

While most of the leaked information relates to Pokémon, one detail hints at a codename that is widely believed to be related to the Switch 2. According to reports from Nintendo Everything, the codename for the Switch 2 is apparently “Ounce”.

This is not the first time the codename “Ounce” has appeared. Back in September, posts on Famiboards mentioned that Ounce was the codename for the Switch 2, and this latest leak seems to all but confirm that report.
