21. Illinois battles Illini (5-1) – Illinois stopped a 2-point conversion attempt by Purdue and secured a 50-49 overtime victory in Champaign on Saturday. The Fighting Illini sacked Boilermakers quarterback Ryan Browne as they tried to go for the win instead of the tie.

22. Michigan Wolverines (4-2) – The reigning national champions had a week off to regroup after suffering their second loss of the season in Washington. Michigan travels to Illinois for a Top 25 showdown in Week 8 on CBS.
