Active Coffee Shop opens in Katy offering coffee, art and live music

KATY, Texas (Katy News coverage) – Active Coffee Shop is preparing to open at 5416 4th Street, Katy, offering a unique experience that combines coffee, live music and art.

According to a filing with the state of Texas, the cafe is renovating a 9,450-square-foot home. The expected completion date is March 2025.

“We are creating the coolest place just for you,” reads a social media post. “Under our amazing trees, we are building a magical place where coffee, live music and art come together to offer you a unique experience.”

The owners are already looking for feedback on their live music preferences and are so excited to get started that they’ve started recruiting baristas.

The goal of the renovation is to create a cozy, artistic community center. According to their posts, Active will use coffee from Houston-based Katz Coffee.
