The trailer for Oxygen’s Philly Homicide reveals the City of Brotherly Love’s most disturbing murders [EXCLUSIVE]

The City of Brotherly Love has a rich history, and Philadelphia native and Bucks County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Chris McMullin uncovers its dark and disturbing side in Oxygen’s upcoming true crime docuseries Philly murder.

McMullin, who worked as a patrol officer for the Philadelphia Police Department for several years before becoming a detective with the Bensalem Police Department, is now applying his experiences on the force to host the new series, in which he will take viewers “into Philly’s most shocking leads into a murder investigation.” .”

Others featured in the show’s trailer, presented exclusively by DECIDER, include retired Bucks County First Assistant District Attorney David W. Zellis, who describes a case as “premeditated in the coldest way possible,” and WCAU reporter Deana Durante highlighting a murder being “personal.”

“A woman was found lying on the sidewalk in Center City,” recalls retired Philadelphia police detective Chuck Boyle. “I was the father of two daughters. I wanted him to get caught more than anyone.”

The high-profile cases featured in each hour-long installment of the 10-part series come straight from the city’s toughest homicide detectives. The network’s press release states: “McMullin provides unique insight into the crimes that took place in a region rich in history and vibrant culture and known for tenacity and determination.”
