Jeopardy!’s Ryan Manton continues his runaway streak in the latest game

Competitor Ryan Manton is still ahead Danger! as the three-day champion continued his winning streak in the Oct. 3 match against Adam Stewart and Emily Stowell-Bui.

Ryan, a systems coordinator from Columbus, Ohio, has been winning fairly consistently since his first match, averaging more than $20,000 per game so far, but in his last game he didn’t bring in that much and only brought in $15,800 won. Still, it was a runaway game for Ryan, who bet no money in the final round, resulting in Emily being eliminated from participation with a negative score of -$400 and Ryan facing the non-threatening threat of Adam’s $2,000 .

Although Ryan had a decent result, he didn’t start off particularly strong, with Adam leading by $5,600 in the first round, Ryan by $5,400 and Emily by -$800. At the end of Double Jeopardy! Ryan secured his lead with the help of Adam’s losses at Daily Doubles in the second round of the competition.

Both Ryan and Adam provided the correct answer for Final Jeopardy! Category “19th Century Games” which stated: “At his autopsy after his death in Vienna in 1827, shrunken auditory nerves were found.” The correct answer was: “Who was Ludwig van Beethoven?” Ultimately, Ryan went with one Four-day total of $83,179 of that.

Can he last long enough to secure the five-game series in the Tournament of Champions? Ryan is just the latest competitor of the new season, delivering a strong and durable game. However, only time will tell for sure. In the meantime, while we wait for the results, weigh in on Ryan’s potential chances at the Tournament of Champions in the comments section below, and don’t miss his latest game on Friday, October 4th.
