But what she liked most was that it shed light rain and looked good. “I like its sleek design, appreciate the zippered pockets and I’m a fan of hoods!” she says. “It’s worth a try if you’re open to something more aesthetic that’s easy to throw on, like a hoodie.”

We’re currently testing this zip-up, which one Arc’Teryx reviewer calls a “miracle hoodie.” It features a tightened hood that shouldn’t slip down even when you start speed biking or running. Reviewers say it takes up so little space when folded that you can store it in a fanny pack, and one says it’s the perfect combination of breathability and warmth. “It’s a must-have for all outdoor sports all year round,” they add.
