“A Purdue Basketball Story” film released

Purdue fans who want to relive the men’s basketball team’s memorable run to the National Championship Game in 2024 now have that opportunity. The athletic department recently released Phoenix: A Purdue Basketball Story, to YouTube.

The film, which recaps Purdue’s entire 2023-24 season from the opening game against Morehead State to the National Championship Game, is nearly 90 minutes long. It provides fans with plenty of behind-the-scenes footage of one of the most outstanding seasons in Boilermaker basketball history.

The film actually made its debut on Friday, September 27th when it aired on the Jumbotron at Mackey Arena. Fans were able to attend the performance free of charge.

Now it is available at the touch of a button. So sit back, relax and enjoy the unforgettable run led by coach Matt Painter and look back on the great seasons of Zach Edey, Braden Smith, Fletcher Loyer, Lance Jones and many others.
