Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ releases in Japan on THIS date; Fans demand a sequel

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Jawan, which released worldwide in September last year, is all set for release in Japan. The Bollywood superstar shared that the film will be released in the country on November 29.

Sharing the trailer for the Japanese release, King Khan wrote in a post on Instagram, “Get ready for an intense, fiery and action-packed adventure as #Jawan makes its way to Japan!” #Jawan arrives on March 29th. November in Japan!”

Jawan is an action thriller co-written and directed by Atlee, which also marked the director’s debut in Hindi films. The film will be distributed in Japan by Twin, a regular distributor of Indian films.

Jawan’s ticket pre-sales reportedly began five months ago in Japan on July 5. The reports also claimed that ticket buyers would receive posters of Shah Rukh Khan from the song ‘Chaleya’.

Fans react to Jawan’s release in Japan

After Shah Rukh Khan announced the release of Jawan in Japan in his post, fans immediately reacted and demanded a sequel to the film Jawan 2.

“Make Jawan 2 sir,” demanded a fan.

“All set to conquer the box office again!” commented one user.

Another user said: “From Iran to Japan. Jawan is still stealing hearts and creating havoc at the box office.”

“Japan is getting ready to celebrate Jawan,” said one fan. While another added, “Looks like the craze for Jawan has spread worldwide! Japan is in for an exciting journey!”

The King Khan star deserves it ₹1,148 crore at the worldwide box office and was the highest-grossing film of 2023.

Produced under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra.

Talking about the plot of the film, SRK plays a dual role as a father and son who come together to fight corruption.
