Rascal Flatts are meeting again after a break for their 25th anniversary tour

Rascal Flatts are back!

On Tuesday, October 1, the country trio – consisting of lead singer Gary LeVox, lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney and bassist Jay DeMarcus – will embark on a national 25th anniversary tour following their hiatus.

“In 2020 we announced the farewell tour after touring extensively for 20 years. To put it simply: we needed a break. Then COVID came and our plans, like the rest of the world, came to a screeching halt. “We have since been able to reflect on our unique and special experience as a band and are ready to hit the road again,” said Rascal Flatts in a press release.

They added: “It’s hard to believe that next year will be Rascal Flatts’ 25th anniversary and this seemed like the perfect time to get back in front of the fans who have given us so much.”

The band shared similar messages in an Instagram post along with a tour poster.

“It’s hard to believe that 2025 will be Rascal Flatts’ 25th anniversary… and this seemed like the perfect time to get back in front of YOU who have given us so much! Tickets for the Life Is A Highway Tour included.” @LaurenAlaina and @iamchrislane go on sale this Friday, October 4th at 10am local time!” they wrote.

Produced by Live Nation, the Life Is A Highway Tour celebrates 25 years of the band’s hits with a 21-stop tour across the United States. Rascal Flatts will open the tour on February 13, 2025 in Evansville, Indiana and will make stops in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Columbus, Ohio; Allentown, Pa.; and Orlando, Florida before being packaged in Jacksonville, Florida on April 5, 2025.

According to a press release, Rascal Flatts will perform hits like “Bless The Broken Road,” “My Wish,” “What Hurts The Most” and more.

Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane will support the group on tour throughout its run.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 4th at 10 a.m. local time and can be purchased here.

Rascal Flatts have been on hiatus since 2020.

They were supposed to mark their 20th anniversary with a farewell tour, but that didn’t happen due to the ongoing pandemic.

Last year, DeMarcus, 53, opened up about whether the band would get back together on an episode of Savannah Chrisley’s podcast Unlocked with Savannah.

“I would like to say, ‘Never say.’ [But] We’re in such different places right now and we’re not really communicating consistently,” he said. “There are just so many steps that would have to be taken before we could even talk about it again. It’s not too late, I just think… I think the further we get away from it, the harder it will be to put it back together.”
