National Taco Day 2024: Find the best deals and freebies here

Today is National Taco Day and restaurants across the country are offering specials and bargains for taco lovers.

That day was previously observed on October 4thbut now it is celebrated on the first Tuesday in October to ensure it is always on Taco Tuesday, as Taco Bell and the National Holiday Calendar announced.

If you’re craving tacos today, these restaurants are offering great deals.

Taco Bell

Taco Bell: celebrates National Taco Day with hourly deliveries of $1 tacos starting at 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT Taco Bell Rewards Members can redeem an offer for a crispy taco for $1.

The restaurant has 10,000 offers that can be redeemed between 1:00 p.m. ET/10:00 a.m. PT and 2:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m. PT.

And there are another 10,000 offers for a different dish starting every hour on the hour until 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.

Oct. 22 – 50,000 Rewards members can choose one of eight Taco Bell classics for just $1.

Taco John’s

Taco John’s: The restaurant chain gives members their Greater Bolder Rewards loyalty program a free Beef Stuffed Grilled Taco with any purchase on Tuesday, October 1st.

And every Wednesday in October, starting October 2nd, Taco John’s is offering special deals to rewards members.

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina: Customers can enjoy Endless Tacos of Pulled Chicken Tinga and Seasoned Ground Beef Tacos for $10 through Sunday, October 13th. For an additional $3, consumers can upgrade to Endless Brisket or Southwest Chicken Tacos. This offer is valid for dining at participating On The Border restaurants.

Broken Yolk Cafe

Broken Yolk Cafe: The California-based restaurant chain is observing National Taco Day on October 4 by offering guests 50% off Baja Breakfast Tacos for 50% off at participating locations on Friday.

El Pollo Loco

El Pollo Loco: Members of Locomotive rewards The loyalty program allows you to get any three fire-grilled chicken tacos for $5 at restaurants, through the app or on the website from Tuesday through Friday, October 4th. Plus, there’s free delivery on all orders on Tuesday for those looking to celebrate at home.

Del Taco

Del Taco: Rewards members can get The Del Taco for free with any app or online purchase on October 1st. Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other discounts and is limited to one discount per guest per day. Price and participation may vary by location.

Rubio’s Coastal Grill

Rubio’s Coastal Grill: The restaurant is offering a Rubio’s Original Fish Taco for just $2.50, and on Friday, October 4, customers can receive a free a la carte taco with any purchase.
