WWF 60 miles in November

WWF 60 miles in November

That sounds great. How do I log on?

Fill out our quick registration form and set up your fundraising page! Register here.

How do I collect donations?

When you register you will have the option to set up a Just Giving fundraising page and we will automatically set up a WWF-branded fundraiser for you too.

I’m afraid I won’t get any donations

Remember that you have enough time to collect donations. So don’t worry. Here are some of our top fundraising tips:

Donate to your own fundraiser – it will show your friends and family that you are taking your challenge seriously!
See if your employer has a “double donation” policy – you could potentially double the amount of your raise!
Keep your friends and family updated about your challenge and they will donate once they see what you are doing.
Personalize your fundraiser blurb and photo – it makes a big difference! Tell people what motivated you to take on the challenge.

How do we track our miles?

There are some great free apps like Strava, Map My Run or Runkeeper. Your WWF fundraising page also has a built-in tracking feature to keep track of things. We also have a digital tracker and a printed version that you can use as well. You can find them on the website or on the back of the letter included with your t-shirt.

You don’t have to send us proof that you’ve completed your miles, but don’t forget to keep friends and family updated so they can see how hard you’re pushing yourself and how many miles you’re completing!

Is this challenge accessible?

Absolutely. We want everyone to join in, no matter what way they choose – you can walk, jog, run, skip, dance – whatever works for you to complete this challenge.

If you are unable to complete the miles, we want you to participate in a way that is comfortable for you. However, here are some of our ideas:
– Participate with one or two friends: Split the miles between you and a few friends and see how far you can go.
– Take a photo of nature every day. This can be as simple as photographing a tree, plant or animal in the garden from your window.
– Get creative: Draw or paint an animal or nature scene every day in November.

If you would like to discuss your ideas with someone in the team, please email [email protected] and we can help you!

When will I receive my free t-shirt?

To receive your free t-shirt, you must register between October 4, 2024 and November 7, 2024. It may take up to 10 business days for the t-shirt to arrive after registration. We only ship t-shirts to UK addresses and there is a maximum of one t-shirt per person.

How do I get a WWF Eco Medal?

To qualify for a WWF Eco Medal you must have reached the target amount of £150 by 00:00 on 3 December 2024. When you reach the £150 target you will receive an email from us asking you to complete your medal application form. WWF Eco Medals are available while stocks last.

How do I get a WWF neck buff?

To qualify for a WWF Neck Boost you must have raised £250 by 00:00 on December 3, 2024. When you reach £250 you will receive an email from us asking you to complete your neck strengthening application form. WWF collars are available while supplies last.

What happens if I don’t complete the challenge?

Don’t worry too much about not completing the challenge at this point. The most important thing is to participate and collect donations. Remember, we are all here to support you – you have this!

Why is there a Facebook group?

The Facebook group is a fantastic way to connect with other challenge participants. You can exchange fundraising or training tips and share photos of your challenge. Plus, everyone in the group will support you while you earn your miles!

What is a Social Sync Fundraiser?

When you register, we automatically create an additional Social Sync fundraising page (sometimes called a WWF fundraiser) with our WWF branding. You can receive donations on this site like any other fundraising site. You can also share it with people who don’t use Facebook, or if you don’t use Facebook or don’t want to share your Facebook page. Your Social Sync fundraiser total reflects your Facebook and Social Sync total. You can also track your miles on the fundraising page to keep a list and share your milestones with friends and family.
