Police say banners with Nazi symbols were found on two bridges in Pittsburgh on Saturday

Pittsburgh police are investigating after two banners with Nazi symbols were found on bridges over the weekend.

According to police, both banners were found Saturday morning – one on the West End Bridge at the intersection of Route 65 and one on the Tenth Street Bridge.

Both bore handwritten Nazi symbols and were placed on the bridges overnight. A written threat was not directed at a specific group or person, the police said.

After the signs were removed, they were photographed and seized as evidence, according to police.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. At this time, no arrests have been made and there are no suspects.

Anyone with information should contact the Pittsburgh Police Department at 412-323-7800.
