The Maharashtra State Examination Council, Pune, is closing the registration window for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (Maharashtra TET 2024) today, September 30. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their forms on the official website at mahatet.in or mscepune.in. The fee payment portal will also be closed today. Registrations for the exam began on September 9th. The next step in the process will be the release of the admit cards, which will be available for download on the official website from October 28 to November 10. The Maharashtra TET exam is scheduled to be held on November 11. Examination Paper 1 will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Examination Paper 2 is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the same day.

Maharashtra TET 2024: Eligibility Criteria

For paper 1 (Primary grades): Candidates must have completed Grade 12 and hold a Diploma in Education (DEd) or a Bachelor of Education (BEd).

For paper 2 (Upper Primary Grades): Candidates must have completed Grade 12 and have a university degree and a DEd or BEd.

For both Paper 1 and Paper 2: Candidates must have completed Class 12 and have a university degree with a DEd or BEd as the required professional qualification.
