LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska football is still atop the AP Top 25, with the Huskers receiving votes in the poll after Saturday’s 28-10 win over Purdue. Nebraska received 30 vote points, behind Arizona (106) and Pittsburgh (42). UNLV placed 25th with 122 votes. Nebraska was ranked 22nd before losing to Illinois earlier this month. Illinois just fell to No. 24 after suffering its first loss of the season. The AP Top 25 poll includes seven other Big Ten teams, led by No. 3 Ohio State. The Huskers are also receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll. They received 12 votes for placement. Nebraska plays Rutgers, which is also receiving votes, on Saturday for Homecoming.
