If recent history is anything to go by, Samsung will release its upcoming Galaxy S25 smartphones in the early months of next year, with the final four models launching in January or February.

There are already plenty of leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S25, but a new report sheds some interesting insight on the successor. Phone Arena cites a subscriber-only post from a leaker in China that claims the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset that’s set to power 2026 flagship smartphones compared to what’s on the table now a significant performance boost will be obtained.

Before we get into the details, a quick health warning about smartphone leaks on social media. Although they have often been proven correct in the past, the accuracy of individual leaks cannot be relied upon – even more so if the author in question does not have a convincing track record. The leaker in question here – The Undead on Weibo – has an “unknown” track record, admits Phone Arena, so take the following with a grain of salt.

Aside from that, the post explains that the efficiency cores of the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 will reach 4GHz, while the performance cores will reach up to 5GHz.

While we have yet to see what speeds Qualcomm will reveal in this year’s chip (we’re reportedly expecting around 4GHz), we do know that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, which powers the Samsung Galaxy S24, will have core speeds between 2.2 and 2.2 GHz has GHz and 3.39 GHz, so that would be a huge jump in just two years.

Again, it’s probably best to view this with some skepticism for now. Even if the (still theoretical) chipset is capable of these speeds, it may not be practical when built into smartphones. Despite the efficiency improvements that the 3nm manufacturing process should bring, space for cooling is limited.

The elephant in the room is that smartphones are already more than fast enough for many people, and a speed increase of almost 50% might seem like extreme overkill. However, there are two areas where more speed is always welcome: high-end mobile gaming and on-device AI. With all smartphone manufacturers betting heavily on the latter, more speed will certainly be welcome for those driving innovative generative AI capabilities in the next few years.

Before the Samsung Galaxy S26, we can of course look forward to the Galaxy S25. Leaked benchmarks suggest a speed improvement of around 25-30%, with more RAM and big improvements to the camera on the S25 Ultra model.

Mr. Paradox – whose path has clearly crossed paths with the Merc with a Mouth due to the state of his face at this point – has tracked down Hunter B-15 to inquire about resources to use for the observation post on Earth-100005. Of course we know he wants them to speed up the construction of the Time Ripper, but this Loki Character is not biting.

This doesn’t seem like a very necessary scene…which explains why it ended up on the cutting room floor! However, we suspect it was intended to better explain how Hunter B-15 later figures out what Mr. Paradox is up to.

GST Network said on Sunday that monthly tax return data for July and August 2017, the first months of the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax, has been restored on the portal.

The GSTN had said last week that it is implementing its data policy that data for taxpayers will be retained for only seven years. This means that the GST return data is available to taxpayers for no longer than seven years and is archived.

Accordingly, on August 1, 2024, tax returns filed for July 2017 were archived and on September 1, 2024, data for August 2017 were archived.

However, trade and industry had wanted some more time before the implementation of this policy so that they could download their relevant data from the GST portal for future reference.

In a notice to taxpayers, GSTN said on Sunday that the GST returns for 17-18 are available again following feedback from trade and industry.

“…In view of the requests from the trade due to the difficulties encountered, the data has been restored to the portal. We encourage you to download and save the data if necessary as the archiving policy will be re-implemented after providing advance information,” GSTN said.

Under the GST Act, taxpayers are not permitted to file their GST return after a period of three years from the due date of filing such return.

As per the data policy of the GST portal, data for taxpayers is retained for only seven years.

A 13-year-old girl was sexually abused multiple times by three of her tutors, police said. While two of the accused have been arrested, one is currently on the run.

According to police, the accused – Gautam, Tarun Rajpurohit and Satya Raj – not only sexually assaulted her but also showed her explicit images and videos.

Gautam and Tarun Rajpurohit were arrested on September 28 and will remain in custody until Monday. Efforts are on to arrest Satya Raj.

“They did it repeatedly. Her mother was initially hesitant to file a complaint, but the counselor had to convince her, a police official said.

According to the police, the accused committed this crime several times, taking advantage of the girl’s precarious situation due to her parents’ divorce and the lack of male presence at home.

The accused were charged under Sections 354 (assault/criminal force with intent to outrage modesty), 376 (2) (rape), 377 (unnatural sexual intercourse) and 12, 4, 8 of the Pocso Act.

The statistics are alarming: According to a Bankrate survey from earlier this year, more than half of Americans feel uncomfortable with what they have saved in their emergency savings. And only 44% believe their savings can cover $1,000 in expenses.

So if you have a savings account, especially an emergency fund, that covers three to six months of emergency expenses, that alone is worth a pat on the back. Benefit from automation

Save without lifting a finger using automated features like Roundup Savings. Rounding functions are offered by many banks and financial institutions. They work by rounding up the change on your purchase and automatically depositing it into your savings account. For example, if you spend $12.49 on your lunch, the total amount posted will be $13.00 and $0.51 will automatically be credited to your savings account. This may seem like petty cash, but it can really add up over time.

The S&P 500 (^GSPC -0.13%) is up 20% year to date, driven by strong interest in artificial intelligence and surprisingly robust economic growth. But certain Wall Street analysts believe so UiPath (AWAY 1.67%) And Roku (ROKU 0.96%) are undervalued.

• Sanjit Singh Morgan Stanley UiPath has set a bull-case price target of $40 per share by September 2025. This forecast implies an upside of 212% over the current share price of $12.80
• Nicholas Grous and Andrew Kim of Ark Invest have set a base price target of $605 for Roku by December 2026. This forecast implies a 712% upside from the current share price of $74.50.

In general, investors should never rely too much on price targets, especially if they come from individual analysts. You shouldn’t take the implied profits for granted either. But UiPath and Roku require further consideration.

UiPath: 212% implied upside

UiPath specializes in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), one of the fastest growing software markets. The business automation platform includes task and process mining tools that help users identify automation opportunities, as well as development tools that help users build software robots that can automate these tasks and processes.

According to Morgan Stanley, UiPath is the “clear category-defining leader” in RPA, but analysts have recognized the company in other areas as well. For example, International Data Corp. recently recognized UiPath as a leader in Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) software, which combines artificial intelligence and RPA to automate tasks such as document classification, data extraction and sentiment analysis.

UiPath reported mixed financial results in the second quarter of fiscal 2025 (ended July 31). The average customer spent 15% more and revenue increased 10% to $316 million. However, non-GAAP gross margin fell about three percentage points and adjusted earnings fell 55% to $0.04 per diluted share. However, investors have reason to be cautiously optimistic.

UiPath brought back co-founder Daniel Dines as CEO in June to improve sales execution, particularly when it comes to growth products like intelligent document processing, and to steer the company through an uncertain economy. Improvements will take time, but Dines said he was encouraged by early progress in the second quarter. “I am particularly pleased with the success we have achieved with our IDP solutions.”

Looking forward, Wall Street expects UiPath to grow revenue by 10% annually through fiscal year 2026 (ending in April 2026). This estimate leaves room for upside as the RPA market is expected to grow 40% annually through 2030. However, the current valuation of 5.2x sales is reasonable even if the Wall Street consensus is correct.

Without a significant acceleration in growth, UiPath shareholders have very little chance of triple-digit returns next year. But investors willing to hold the stock for at least three to five years should consider buying a small position today. UiPath could be a worthwhile turnaround story.

Roku: 712% implied upside

Roku’s streaming platform connects consumers, content publishers and advertisers. The Company monetizes paid content by charging fees for transactions processed through Roku Pay, and it monetizes ad-supported content by selling inventory and ad-tech software. Roku sources advertising inventory from content publishers on the platform, but also operates an ad-supported service called The Roku Channel.

In terms of streaming time, Roku is the most popular streaming platform in the US and the company is well positioned to maintain its leadership position. Roku OS is the best-selling TV operating system in the US, Canada and Mexico, indicating brand authority. In fact, Roku OS was more popular in terms of TV sales in the second quarter than the next two operating systems combined.

Roku reported encouraging second-quarter results. The number of active accounts increased by 14% and streaming hours increased by 20%, meaning the average account interacted with the platform more often. In turn, revenue rose 14% to $968 million and adjusted EBITDA improved to $44 million, compared to a loss of $18 million a year ago. Investors have good reason to believe the company will maintain its momentum.

In addition to the fact that Roku is the most popular streaming platform in North America, The Roku Channel is the eighth most popular streaming service in the US, ahead of Max Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount+ from Paramount Global. This puts the company well-positioned to benefit as streaming accounts for a larger share of viewing time and advertisers spend more on connected TV (CTV).

Wall Street expects Roku’s revenue to grow 13% annually through 2025, but that estimate leaves room for upside. CTV advertising spending is expected to grow 12% annually over the same period, and Roku’s leadership position in North America (coupled with its growing presence in international markets) could result in faster-than-expected growth.

However, the current valuation of 2.8 times sales is reasonable, even if the Wall Street consensus is accurate. Personally, I think Ark’s price target of $605 per share is absurdly high. But I also believe Roku can beat the S&P 500 in the next three to five years. Therefore, patient investors should feel comfortable buying a small position today.
