Video: Travis Hunter says Richard Sherman apologized for criticism of his WR potential | News, results, highlights, statistics and rumors

Andrew Wevers/Getty Images

Travis Hunter and Richard Sherman get along well.

The former All-Pro defenseman drew the ire of the Colorado Buffaloes two-way star when he expressed doubts about Hunter’s ability to be a dynamic receiver at the NFL level.

Despite the tensions, Hunter confirmed in the latest episode of the Well Off Media vlog (3:15) that he had spoken to Sherman and that the two had ironed out any issues.

“We talked on the phone,” Hunter said. “There’s no negative energy, he told me he watches me a lot… I modeled my game after him when I was younger, he was a lockdown DB.”

Hunter went on to explain that they both apologized and that his anger was mostly because he idolized Sherman growing up.

“He told me he was sorry, I sent him an apology,” Hunter said. “I didn’t mean it when I did something wrong, it just hurt me because I looked up to him. That’s exactly what it was.”

Sherman played 11 seasons in the NFL, recording 495 tackles and 37 interceptions in 144 games. He was a five-time Pro Bowler, three-time All-Pro and won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks.

Also of note, Sherman played on both sides of the ball at Stanford, so he has a unique perspective on Hunter’s style of play. Sherman spent the first three seasons of his career as a wide receiver, but moved to defensive back the last two seasons and was an impact player in the Cardinals’ secondary.

Hunter plays receiver and cornerback at the same time and has shown tremendous ability at both positions. In 2024, he totaled 37 catches for 472 yards and five touchdowns, along with 14 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble on defense.

What you should know about leaks on the International Space Station

What you should know about leaks on the International Space Station

A new report from NASA details that persistent air leaks at the International Space Station (ISS) pose “a major safety risk.”

The report released Sept. 26 by NASA’s Office of Inspector General and signed by Deputy Inspector General George A. Scott said the leak was in a tunnel connecting the Russian segment of the ISS to a docking port. According to the report, NASA and the Russian space agency Roscosmos continue to “work together to address structural issues with the Russian Service Module Transfer Tunnel.”

“According to NASA, Roscosmos is confident that they will be able to monitor and close the hatch to the service module before the leak rate reaches an unsustainable level,” the report said. “However, NASA and Roscosmos have not reached agreement on the point at which the leak rate is unsustainable.”

This leak, the root cause of which remains unknown, has already been discussed in the public forum, with Russia acknowledging the issue back in February. However, they said it did not pose a safety risk to the crew. Still, the newly released report states that NASA detected an “increase in the leak rate to its highest level ever” in April 2024.

In May and June, representatives from the ISS program and Roscosmos met to discuss their increasing concerns about the increased leak rate. “As of August 2024, the leak risk in the service module transfer tunnel is assessed at 5 x 5,” the report said. NASA’s risk scorecard is based on both “risk probability,” which is the likelihood that a potential risk will occur, and “risk impact,” which is the potential harm that could occur if a problem occurs. Five is considered “hardest” on the five-point scale.

If the leaks continue, NASA and Roscosmos could be forced to permanently close the hatch to the affected tunnel, which would prevent astronauts from using any of the four docking ports for the Russian segment. Currently, the report says they are constantly monitoring the leaks and temporarily closing the hatch when it is not needed.

The ISS is only scheduled to operate with NASA until 2030. At this point, they plan to work with SpaceX and exit the station in a controlled manner. In 2023, Russia committed to remaining on board until 2028 and plans to build the core of a new space station by 2030.

NASA’s September inspector general report includes some recommendations for NASA’s crew, including re-examining orbiting debris tracking instruments to “ensure the safety of the crew” and documenting “contingency plans” in the event of an emergency and in the event that the air leaks become worse due to damage.

The good, the bad and the ugly, from the Hokies loss to the hurricanes

The good, the bad and the ugly, from the Hokies loss to the hurricanes

It was a heartbreaking night for the Hokies in Miami. Virginia Tech played its best game of the season and it looked like it would be enough to beat the No. 7 team in the country, but a controversial decision at the end of the game took the win away from Virginia Tech and they fell to 2 -3 and 0-1 in the ACC. If you’re Brent Pry, there were a few things you might like about this game, but even without the call at the end, the Hokies also made some mistakes.

Let’s break it all down.

This morning, the ACC gave the reason for reversing the call:

Our own RJ Schafer explained the decision to overturn the decision at the end of the game:

“Virginia Tech’s final drive started with less than two minutes on the clock, and the Hokies trailed by four, needing a touchdown. The drive was methodical, starting with a seven-yard pass to Da’Quan Felton, a six-yard pass to Stephen Gosnell and a four-yard pass to Da’Quan Felton.

However, a significant amount of time had passed by this point. The Hokies would remain at their own 42-yard line with less than 40 seconds left.

It seemed like all hope was lost, but Kyron Drones helped his team get back on the field. He gained 29 yards in the next 33 seconds, giving Virginia Tech only one shot in the end zone – a Hail Mary situation.

Kyron Drones dropped back, had a clean pocket, and on the left side of the end zone, Da’Quan Felton, Jaylin Lane and Bhayshul Tuten were all in one area.

Drones sent it, hoping one of them would catch it.

One of them supposedly did.

At first it seemed like Virginia Tech had lost the game when Miami ran away with the ball and stormed the court. The game wasn’t over yet, the referees were still debating calls and calling the play on the field a touchdown.

Since the on-field call was a touchdown, any video review would have to provide incontrovertible evidence that Felton did not catch the ball in order to overturn or reverse the call.

That never happened. Is it possible he didn’t catch the ball? Yes. Was there indisputable and indisputable video evidence? No. I’m not one to blame the refs for games, especially because teams can get opportunities to take the lead, but in a game like this, that was Virginia Tech’s chance.

There wasn’t enough evidence that he didn’t catch the ball and that’s why the replay process took so long because there was probably a debate about what they thought of the decision and whether there was actually evidence that the decision was overturned .

Virginia Tech should have won this game.

Andrew Garfield enchants San Sebastian as “We Live in Time” closes the festival

Andrew Garfield enchants San Sebastian as “We Live in Time” closes the festival

Andrew Garfield walked the red carpet in San Sebastian on Saturday evening with his latest film. We live in timeconcluded the film festival on the Spanish coast.

The British actor was not accompanied by his co-star Florence Pugh, but had director John Crowley at his side. We live in timewhich screened out of competition, is a south London romantic drama about an aspiring chef and a recent divorcee who fall in love. As they stroll through life – and even welcome a child – they learn to cherish their time together when a late-stage cancer diagnosis shatters the happy home they’ve built.

Garfield sat down with me The Hollywood Reporter on Saturday to announce his return to films after a two-year hiatus. “I feel looser, I feel less valuable. I feel happier. I feel more conscious. I feel established as a person in the world, an actor within myself and in the world,” he said. “I know myself well enough now to feel more joy.”

The 41-year-old also spoke about his bond with co-star Pugh on We live in time and the intimacy needed to act alongside one another: “With a script like this, we have to travel to the most intimate places,” he said. “At some point I have to have my head right on her ass while she’s standing naked on all fours in a gas station. This is scary for anyone, let alone the woman in this scenario.”

San Sebastian had its most dazzling celebration in years as Cate Blanchett, Javier Bardem and Johnny Depp took to the carpet outside the Kursaal Theater. Performances by Edward Bergers conclaveFrancis Ford Coppola Megalopolis and Sean Bakers Anora also attracted the industry’s biggest stars to Spain.

Among some panels at the festival, Killer Films’ Christine Vachon, a longtime collaborator of Todd Haynes who was set to produce the director’s project with Joaquin Phoenix before the actor dropped out early in filming, told “the truth” about the situation and described what in her opinion is the most tragic part.

“The idea that his time was wasted and that a film is not the result of those years of close collaboration with Joaquin is, for me, a tragedy that I cannot get over,” Vachon said Tuesday. “As a cultural community, we missed the opportunity to see another Todd Haynes film. This is just criminal.”

Depp’s premiere of his new film Modi – Three days on the wing of madnessAfter spending a few days in the life of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani, the star compared his bumpy life to Modigliani’s and referenced his public defamation trial following his split from Amber Heard. “Every [character] has her story because we can safely say that I’ve been through a lot of things here and there. … Maybe your show hasn’t become a soap opera. I mean, literally televised,” he said, sparking laughter from the packed room of reporters.

Earlier this week, Bardem took the opportunity at his press conference before accepting his Donostia Prize for acting achievements to denounce the actions of the Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu, which continued to carry out airstrikes in Gaza after the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023 .

“I welcome it [the award] with great joy, but I don’t feel like celebrating,” said a translation of Bardem’s statement in the Spanish press. “What happened in Gaza is unacceptable and dehumanizing.”

The San Sebastian Film Festival took place from September 20th to 28th. To read The Hollywood Reporter You can find coverage of the festival here.

Aviator’s Impenetrable Fortress: A technical deep dive into game security

Aviator’s Impenetrable Fortress: A technical deep dive into game security

In the ever-evolving landscape of mobile gaming, Aviator has become a titan, captivating millions of people with its sleek design and adrenaline-pumping gameplay. As popularity increases, so does curiosity about its inner workings. Many users, driven by the lure of easy profits, search for terms like “Download Aviator Hack APK” hoping to gain an unfair advantage. However, as we will explore in this technical deep dive, such attempts are not only futile but also expose users to significant risks.

At the heart of Aviator’s robust security is a multi-layered architecture designed to thwart any attempt at manipulation. Let’s analyze these layers:

1. Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)

Contrary to popular belief, Aviator does not rely solely on traditional random number generation. Instead, it uses a proprietary DLT system, similar to blockchain but optimized for real-time gaming.

  • Immutable records: Every game result is recorded in a distributed ledger, making it impossible to change historical data.
  • Consensus mechanism: A network of nodes validates every game outcome, ensuring there is not a single point of error or manipulation.
  • Smart contracts: Automated, self-executing contracts regulate the rules of the game and eliminate the need for human intervention.

2. Quantum-resistant encryption

While quantum computers capable of breaking current encryption standards are still years away, Aviator is already prepared:

  • Post-quantum cryptography: Implements algorithms resistant to both classical and quantum computer attacks.
  • Key Encapsulation Mechanisms (KEMs): Uses grid-based cryptography for secure key exchange.
  • Dynamic key rotation: Automatically changes the encryption keys at regular intervals.

3. AI-powered anomaly detection

An advanced artificial intelligence system constantly monitors the game for signs of irregular activity:

  • Machine learning models: Trained to recognize unusual patterns over billions of gaming sessions.
  • Real-time analysis: Processes data in milliseconds to identify potential threats.
  • Adaptive security: Evolves its detection methods based on new data and new threat patterns.

Despite the robustness of Aviator’s security, there are numerous claims about hacking tools and modified APKs online. Let’s explore why this is nothing more than digital snake oil:

1. The impossibility of client-side manipulation

Aviator’s core logic is based on secure, distributed servers. The app on your device is just a client that displays results. Here’s why client-side hacks are impossible:

  • Thin client architecture: Your device is not performing critical calculations.
  • Server-side validation: All input from the client is strictly validated on the server side.
  • Encrypted communication: The data transferred between client and server is encrypted end-to-end.

2. The deception of fake hacking tools

Those offering “Aviator Hack APK Download” are often involved in malicious activities:

  • Malware distribution: Many of these APKs contain Trojans or ransomware.
  • Data theft: Some tools are designed to steal login credentials or personal information.
  • Financial fraud: Users may be asked to pay for “premium” features that are not present.

To illustrate the futility of hacking attempts, I conducted a controlled experiment to reverse engineer the Aviator app. Here is a technical breakdown of the process and results:

  1. APK decompilation:
    • Used APKTool to decompile the Aviator APK.
    • Analyzes the Smali code and resources.
  1. Network traffic analysis:
  • Use of Wireshark to capture and analyze network packets.
  • It was discovered that all traffic was encrypted using TLS 1.3.
  1. Memory dump analysis:
  • Using Frida to perform a runtime memory analysis.
  • No game logic or sensitive data was found in the device memory.
  1. Server check:
  • An attempt was made to identify server endpoints.
  • All discovered endpoints implemented strict rate limiting and anomaly detection.

Results: After 100 hours of intensive analysis, no vulnerabilities or attack vectors were discovered. The app’s security measures effectively prevented any meaningful reverse engineering.

As cyber threats evolve, so does Aviator’s security infrastructure. Based on industry trends and insider information, here are some cutting-edge technologies that may be implemented in the near future:

1. Homomorphic encryption

This revolutionary technology allows calculations to be performed on encrypted data without first decrypting it. For Aviator this could mean:

  • Increased privacy for users as personal data never needs to be decrypted on servers.
  • Ability to execute complex game logic on encrypted inputs, further securing game mechanics.

2. Zero-knowledge proofs

These cryptographic methods could allow Aviator to prove the fairness of any game outcome without revealing any information about the underlying random number generation process:

  • Users could independently verify the fairness of the game.
  • The game could demonstrate compliance without disclosing proprietary algorithms.

3. Federated learning

This AI technique could improve Aviator’s anomaly detection without compromising user privacy:

  • Machine learning models could be trained on multiple devices without the need to centralize user data.
  • Improved detection of sophisticated hacking attempts or unusual betting patterns.

Conclusion: The unassailable nature of Aviator

As we explored in this technical deep dive, the idea of hacking Aviator or finding a working “Aviator Hack APK Download” is nothing short of a digital wild goose chase. The game’s security is not just a single wall, but an ever-evolving, multi-layered fortress that utilizes some of the most advanced technologies available today.

For developers and cybersecurity enthusiasts, Aviator serves as a case study in robust application security. The use of distributed ledger technology, quantum-resistant encryption and AI-powered monitoring sets a new standard in the industry.

For players, the message is clear: enjoy the game for its intended purpose – entertainment. Any promise of hacks or cheats is a scam at best and a serious security threat to your device and personal information at worst.

As technology advances, we can expect Aviator to remain at the forefront of gaming security, continually adapting and evolving to maintain its status as an impregnable digital fortress. In the world of Aviator, the only real strategy is skillful play and responsible gaming – no hacks required.

What do Packers transactions mean for Jordan Love, Jaire Alexander vs. Vikings?

What do Packers transactions mean for Jordan Love, Jaire Alexander vs. Vikings?

GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay Packers added two cornerbacks to the roster on Saturday for their big NFC North showdown against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at Lambeau Field?

What do Saturday’s transactions mean for the availability of quarterback Jordan Love and cornerback Jaire Alexander?

Not elevated: QB Sean Clifford

For the last two weeks, the Packers have left Sean Clifford off the practice squad and Jordan Love has been inactive due to the knee injury he suffered against the Eagles.

Not this week. Clifford was not elevated. This is what love means, three weeks and two days after the sinking in Brazil, will be back in the lineup to face the Vikings’ vaunted defense.

“I’m trying to push it forward and I tried to come back as quickly as possible no matter who the opponent was,” Love said this week. “But definitely, look at this week and the NFC North opponent, 3-0 team, really good team, so it would definitely mean a lot to come back and push myself to come back for this game.”

Two weeks ago, the Packers introduced the defense for their home opener against the Colts. On Sunday it’s the offensive’s turn.

“It would be special,” Love said. “It would be my first home game here in Lambeau. It would definitely mean a lot. It was obviously hard to watch the Colts game from the sidelines, but it’s a part of it, a part of the injury process and playing. So when I’m ready, I’ll definitely be very, very excited to be ready.”

Raised: CB Robert Rochell

Carrington Valentine did not practice on Friday and is questionable on the injury report, so he will almost certainly miss a second straight game with an ankle injury.

In addition, top cornerback Jaire Alexander was only able to start the training week with a limited start with an injured quadriceps. Due to a groin injury, Alexander did not practice on Friday and is questionable on the injury report. He could be a game-winning decision Possible singles matchup against All-Pro Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson.

“Yeah, it’s definitely a concern,” coach Matt LaFleur said Sunday. “Any time a guy isn’t working out, it’s definitely concerning.”

With only Eric Stokes, Corey Ballentine and Keisean Nixon healthy at cornerback, the Packers signed Robert Rochell from the practice squad for the second straight year.

Rochell was a fourth-round pick by the Rams in 2021. He started in five games and intercepted one pass to help them win the Super Bowl.

The Packers signed him off Carolina’s practice squad in late October last year when Eric Stokes was placed on injured reserve and Alexander was dealing with a back injury. He did not play on defense in nine games, but recorded four tackles on special teams.

The Packers re-signed him to a one-year contract in free agency. With Alexander and Stokes remaining healthy during training camp, Rochell lost his bid for a roster spot to Corey Ballentine.

Elevated: CB Kamal Hadden

With injuries in the defensive backfield, the Packers also increased Kamal Hadden. He was the choice over Kalen King, a seventh-round pick by the Packers that year.

Hadden was selected in the sixth round by the Kansas City Chiefs in this year’s draft.

Hadden boasts excellent size at 6-foot-1 and 192 pounds with 4.57 40 speed. At the University of Tennessee in 2023, he paced the Volunteers with three interceptions and 11 passes defensed, although he missed the last six Missed games due to a shoulder injury.

According to PFF, 125 corners in this draft class played at least 250 coverage snaps. Due to the injury, he narrowly missed the cutoff. Had he played enough snaps, he would have finished third in completion percentage allowed (36.4), first in passer rating allowed (7.0) and third in forced incompletion percentage. He didn’t allow a touchdown.

Hadden only played 22 snaps in the preseason. In eight coverage snaps, PFF charged him with one completion (one target) and 22 yards.

Teams can only add two players to their matchday roster, so they were unable to promote Clifford, Rochell and Hadden.
