IH-69 reopens after three-vehicle accident resulting in complete closure

A serious multi-car accident has led to a nearly hour-long closure on a Houston highway.

The accident occurred on IH-69 Eastex Southbound at Greens Road. and was reported just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening. All main lanes and both the left and right shoulders were closed, but have since reopened.

This is the second full highway closure in Houston Saturday evening.

One person was transported to a nearby hospital, but the condition of those involved is unknown at this time.
