Rekha shines at IIFA 2024 dancing to Piya Tose, Pardesiya. Watch videos

Veteran actress Rekha mesmerized the audience at IIFA 2024 with her dance performance. She danced to many classic Hindi film songs, including Piya Tose Naina Laage Re from the 1965 film Guide. She performed continuously for the audience for 20 minutes at the gala evening, accompanied by 150 dancers. A few videos and photos of her appearance have surfaced on social media.

In one of the videos, Rekha, 69, beautifully dressed in a pink anarkali suit, performs to the song ‘Piya Tose Naina Laage Re’. In another video, she dances to the song “Pardesiya” from her film “Mr. Natwarlal” from 1979, in which she shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan.

Several pictures of her performance were shared on IIFA’s official Instagram account with the caption, “The night lights up as the iconic and ever radiant Rekha makes a stunning appearance on the stage at NEXA IIFA Awards 2024 (sic).”

Rekha has shared it before Excitement about appearing at IIFA. She said, “IIFA holds a special place in my heart as it is not only a tribute to Indian cinema but also a vibrant fusion of art, culture and love on a global stage.”

IIFA 2024 started on September 27th IIFA Utsavamwhere the best achievements of South Indian cinema were recognized and honored. On September 28, IIFA honored the best of Hindi cinema Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji picked up the Best Actor trophies. The cinema’s three-day celebration concludes on September 29 with IIFA Rocks, which features rousing performances from the likes of Shankar Mahadevan and Honey Singh.
