PONTIAC, Mich. — An Oakland County man is facing a half-dozen charges after a tip reportedly led to the discovery of child pornography.

Kyle Robert Breitinger was charged Thursday, Sept. 26, with six counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.

The charges were approved after Michigan State Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Authorities said Breitinger’s phone was searched and found to contain several explicit and graphic photos and videos of children.

Breitinger’s bail was set at $50,000. His probable cause conference is scheduled for Oct. 8.
