The 45-year-old movie star looks unrecognizable in his first-ever headshot shown to fans – but can you guess who it is?

He is one of the biggest male film stars of his generation.

But before this American actor found fame on the big screen, he rose to prominence in a hit NBC sitcom.

He later transformed himself into one of Hollywood’s most sought-after leading men, starring alongside stars like Jennifer Lawrence.

Earlier this week, he shared his first portrait photo, in which he looked almost unrecognizable with his wavy blonde locks and beaming pose.

“This guy didn’t know what to expect… My first headshot ever!” he wrote to fans.

So can you guess who it is?

It’s Chris Pratt!

Even though the headshot had been shared before, it caused many of his followers to do a double-take.

His wife Katherine Schwarzenegger appeared shaken as she commented: “This is a lot for me to process.”

Meanwhile, other fans were confused about his appearance, noting that he looked like Patrick Swayze and John Schneider from Dukes of Hazzard.

Another said they thought it was Heath Ledger at first glance.

Born Christopher Michael Pratt in 1979, the Minnesota native appears to be in his early 20s in the atmospheric black-and-white portrait.

Pratt was discovered at age 19 while waiting tables at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company restaurant in Maui, Hawaii.

Director Rae Dawn Chong cast him in the short horror film “Cursed Part 3,” which got his foot in the door.

He then landed his first regular television role as Harold Brighton “Bright” Abbott in the series Everwood.

But it wasn’t until 2009 that Pratt found real success with the role of Andy Dwyer in the NBC comedy series “Parks and Recreation.”

Although the role was only intended as a supporting character, Pratt’s humor and charisma convinced the showrunners to give him a larger role.

After losing weight for Moneyball 2011, Pratt shocked the world with a tinted mirror selfie – propelling him into the category of a Hollywood leading man.

Thanks to his role in Guardians of the Galaxy, Pratt is now one of Tinseltown’s most successful new stars.
